The world’s fourth richest man will be giving away $3.6 billion of his fortune, he announced earlier this week.
Warren Buffett, billionaire whose net worth is around $88.6 billion, has pledged to donate nearly all of his fortune to charity over his lifetime.
This particular donation, part of his Berkshire Hathaway investments, will go to the: Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, the Sherwood Foundation, the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, and the NoVo Foundation.
Previous donations from Buffett have supported efforts by the Gates Foundation to end poverty and improve education.
