Trump Signs Bill to Fund NASA Mission to Mars

President Trump approved funding for a crewed NASA mission to Mars earlier this week.

The bill supports a mission to Mars as a key NASA objective and authorizes engineers to test human space flight programs for deeper exploration of space and learning programs.

NASA now has a $19.5B budget for 2018, but is not expected to go to Mars until 2030.

A 36-page report outlines NASA’s target milestones for the next few years, including further testing of the Orion spacecraft and Space Launch System rocket.
