Georgia Artists for Progress Close the Gap Between Arts & Politics

Georgia Artists for Progress, a new nonprofit organization in Georgia, is bridging the gap between arts and politics by keeping people informed and engaged through art. The organization started with a group of friends who are passionate about art and politics, and the Executive Director of the organization – who is also a violinist – noticed that she rarely saw politicians involved in the art community, yet there is a mutual desire between artists and politicians to be part of each other’s fields. Georgia Artists for Progress hope to utilize this opportunity to give their community the necessary tools to get involved.
