Under the new administration, a number of military families have been left without child care programs, due to an order to freeze federal hiring staff.
Two Army bases have already been informed of the freeze, active on February 28 which will “close all Part-Day programs” toddlers.
“President Trump [has] ordered an across-the-board employment freeze for the federal government, halting hiring for all new and existing positions except those in national security, public safety and the military,” Snopes online news source reported.
The order comes as a result of the absence of concrete budgets and Trump’s attempt to “control” the growth of government.
