According to a recent survey called “US State of Technology” the majority of teachers and administrators in the US agree that education technology helps accelerate student learning in classrooms.
The survey of 1,000 people found that most participants believed there are benefits to education technology, but also revealed the difficulty that still exists for integrating the technology.
Some educators have identified it as a key factor in closing the education gap and making a good quality education more accessible to students.
“It is clear that technology is the future of education, but schools and their districts are still unclear on how to implement it in the classroom and keep it up-to-date, rather than play catch-up,” said Hailey Philpotts, Miami-Date County Public Schools Teacher, according to Yahoo Finance.
