Shell, Dow, & GE Team Up to Form Environmental Nonprofit against Climate Change

Teams from Shell, Dow, and GE have rallied to form the Energy Transitions Commission, an international advisory nonprofit with the goal of creating a “roadmap” for a more sustainable economy over the next 15 years, reports Fortune. Thus far, the membership includes former heads of state, government officials, corporate members,and two important green NGOs. The affiliates of the coalition come from diverse perspectives, but are each committed to providing energy to the growing world population and economy without irreparable environmental destruction.
