A group of scientists from Israel claimed that they are close to developing a cure for cancer and that it will be completed within the next year and that the cost will be relatively low, compared to other treatments that are currently available.
The scientists are from the company Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies Ltd. (AEBi), in Ness Ziona Israel. However, skeptical leaders at the American Cancer Society however have pointed to a number of reasons that many researchers are not so sure that this will actually be the case, including that there are still many clinical trials to happen between trying to cure on actual patients who are living with cancer, and there will be many “difficult experiments ahead.”
Researchers have described the technology as a “cancer antibiotic” and the treatment employs “cancer-targeting peptides” combined with a toxin to destroy cancer cells.
