Artists and cultural organizations across Philadelphia will be selected for more than $8 million in grants from the Pew Center for Arts and Heritage.

At least thirty art projects and several fellowships will be recipients of the grants, with varying amounts starting at $75,000 for individual artists, and $300,000 for public projects.

“The ambitious and imaginative work of Philadelphia’s artists and institutions will offer audiences outstanding cultural experiences in the year ahead,” said executive director of the Center.

Among recipients for this year’s awards are the Mann Center for Performing Arts and the Institute of Contemporary Art.
