The San Francisco-based nonprofit, Family House Inc., has met its fundraising target of $42 million to open the new Nancy and Stephen Grand Family House near the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Mission Bay. Family Home provides no-cost places to stay for deserving parents and families of children with severe diseases. Its new complex, set to open on March 1, will replace its current locations on Irving St. and 10th Ave and will more than double their current housing capacity.
