This week, in collaboration with local nonprofits, foundations, and corporations, the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis launched a regional database that combines information on the area’s social issues and the local nonprofits working to solve them. According to the Memphis Business Journal, WHEREweLIVEmidsouth.org gives users an “interactive map” of information about the “livability and health” of specific regions and the nonprofits working within them. Leaders expect the website to give more exposure to Memphis-area nonprofits and enable corporate and individual donors to make an impact where they might not otherwise know how.
