The Los Angeles Times will be hosting the 24th annual Festival of Books on April 13 and 14 with major writers scheduled to attend.

Chelsea Clinton, Dave Berry, and Roxane Gay are some of the more than 500 authors, chefs, musicians, and artists that will participate in the festival.

The two day event will also feature readings for child and teenage audiences and will highlight the work of local writers from the Los Angeles area.

Attendees will be able to purchase books, merchandise, and food from more than 200 exhibitors.

Organizers expect 150,000 people to attend the free event that is being held at USC and will follow the 39th annual Los Angeles Times Book Prizes ceremony that is scheduled for April 12.
