Language programs and cultural studies administered by the Department of Education have always been bipartisan, and among the most important and effective programs within our current political climate.
These programs help lawmakers and the public understand the importance of understanding foreign language and cultures, which in effect strengthens our country’s commitment to global leadership.
Students have also been given the opportunity to study in different regions in order to deepen their knowledge of foreign cultures.
