The Gupta Agarwal Foundation announced a $5 million donation this week to help researchers learn from one of the top institutions for cardiac health and to make that care more accessible to people all around the globe.
The donation was made directly to Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital – Plano, an institution in Texas that is well known for providing high quality cardiac care, as reported by Yahoo. The funds will also allow for professional from around the globe to learn from this facility to understand best practices for cardiac care.
“It is important to us that our friends around the world have access to the best medical care, and that we all understand the importance of leading lives filled with balance. It is our pleasure and our purpose to be involved with our community in this way,” said Satish Gupta.
The foundation has generally focused on supporting efforts and initiatives that improve health care, provide education or improve cultural awareness.
