Florida Governor Proposes New Budget to Help Students

In an effort to support the influx of Puerto Rican students within the US school system, Florida Governor Rick Scott is launching a new funding plan for education.

The governor is aiming to accrue funds in order to increase spending for each Florida student by $200.

“We have the money in the budget,” the governor stated.

“I’m just going to fight hard to get it,” he said.

Many school officials in Florida hope the House and Senate will pass the new budget proposals to support the growing rate of students.
