Facebook has announced a $214 million donation for the Silicon Valley Community Foundation in California, officially awarded through the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
Silicon Valley Community Foundation is one of the largest community foundations in the U.S. with assets of more than $13.5 billion, according to Forbes.
The social media giants have previously donated to the community foundation, which now totals up to more than $1.96 billion.
