College-Educated Labor Force in the U.S. Mostly Women

According to a new analysis by Pew Research, women are on their way to becoming the majority of the college-educated labor force in the U.S.

When looking at the data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, women who are 25 and older make up more than half of the college-educated labor force in America, and those numbers are still going up.

Earlier in the year, 29.5 million of women in the labor force held college degrees, while 29.3 million of men held college degrees.

Still, data indicates that men are still “outearning” women with college degrees, with an approximate additional $26,000 per year.
