The Braille Institute of America received its largest single donation in the amount of $5M from the AS&F Foundation.

The Braille Institute offers services completely free of charge to persons with visual impairments and severe vision loss through several institutes across California, including the Braille Institute of Los Angeles, of Anaheim, of San Diego, and Santa Barbara.
