A new contemporary art museum will be erected in Boston in 2020 and admission will be totally free.

The MassArt Museum (MAAM), as it will be named, will be featured on a 15,000 square-foot space, that will primarily serve as a teaching space for students and faculty of Massachusetts College of Art and Design, which will be debuting the museum.

The space will include an education studio, a state-of-the-art preparatory workshop, offices and a plaza, as reported by Boston Globe.

MassArt will host free educational programming and serve as an important resource for the community.
