The American Heart Association in partnership with the Paul Allen Frontiers Group has launched a $43 million initiative to advance research in health for age-related cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer’s.

The initiative will be awarding funds to research groups who excel in developing innovative ideas and treatments to improve brain health, and will be accepting proposal until the first week of July.

The organization is therefore calling upon researchers to develop better treatments to help patients and families affected by deteriorating brain health.
