Month of June Showed Major Job Increase in the US

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) at least 287,000 jobs were added in the month of June — a huge push for the U.S. economy.

The BLS delivered the exciting news on Friday, as investors had kept an eye on the steady downward trend of new jobs created every month; in May, an estimated 38,000 jobs (later revised to 11,000) were created, marking an all-time low for the U.S.

Unemployment rates have increased from .2% to 4.9% which, according to senior business editor of NPR, Marilyn Geewax, shows that more people are claiming that status to start applying for jobs.
